Chateau de la Selve, Maguelone Rosé, 2019

£20.00

Chateau de la Selve's hillside parcels in the Ardèche, of Grenache, Cinsault, Sryah, and Viognier contribute to a tension unique amongst rosés. This is hardly a rosé that's made as an afterthought. Operators Florence and Benoit Chazallon apply their (certified) organic and biodynamic principles to their 30 year old vines. The grapes are rigorously sorted and only the free run juice at pressing. The result is hard to argue with. The wine is fresh, vibrant, floral, and full of a great interplay between body and acidity; a wonderful tension.

Notes: Dry, Zesty, Light Bodied

Pairings: Aperitif, BBQ Fare
