Chateau Franc-Baudron, Bucolique, 2019

£19.00

Chateau Franc Baudron, is now in the hands of the fourth generation. Sophie runs the show, taking the house back to its natural, organic roots. The pursuit of purity, authenticity and pleasure in every drop, they have had huge success in recent years.

Montagne St Emilion is situated just outside of the famous UNESCO town of St Emillion, on Bordeaux’s infamous Right Bank. Big names & big prices; Petrus, Angelus, the list goes on, but nestled away, in a lesser considered area, they are making incredibly delicious, hand crafted wines of sheer pleasure, and extremely good value!

Crisp, zippy, citrus and stone fruit with an undertow of minerals. This is a terrific Rose, not over powering, lower in alcohol. A touch richer and more fruit forward than Provence, perfect for aperitif or with bbq fare.

Notes: Dry, Zesty, Light Bodied

Pairings: Summer Parties, Energy Rosé
